So to explain, for my family.... Ryan has a friend he grew up with that married a lovely lady from Australia, they lived here for a time... then moved to Australia.
Well, via blogland our families have been "reacquainting" over the last several months. And at one point I blogged that some "Aussies" and "Americans" from my photo class this fall had been discussing different delicacies that we discovered to be unique to our countries. For example, Australians had no idea what smores were! And they have something called Tim Tams. From what I recall(Karina you will have to fill in, so I know how to do it!) you bite off the ends of the biscuit and use it like a straw in a warm drink. Which melts the gooey chocolate in the center... into a yummy mess!
Well, sweet Karina offered to post "mail" (I love the Aussie lingo.. I could move just for that!) me some! They have been here at her brother in-laws since Christmas or so, waiting to be picked up by Lance!
Ryan walked in from church (I was home sick) with this bag... and it was HEAVY! I couldn't for the life of me figure out what it was or who it could be from! The girls excitedly helped me open it, to find a serious amount of AUSTRALIAN CHOCOLATE! Holy smokes.. a lifetime supply.(ok, not with me in the house.. but pretty close.)
I am waiting for my cold to go away.. I can't taste a thing at the moment and refuse to waste such a treat! Ryan is claiming the white chocolate.....Everything else is MINE! Just kidding! :) I'll share some...
There is white chocolate, milk chocolate, chocolate with kiwi bits, chocolate with macadamia nuts, dairy milk chocolate,two packages of Tim Tams.... I should have the "Tim Tam Slam" down pat by the time those babies are gone!
Wanna know the best part of the dairy milk chocolate? It has 1 1/2 glasses of milk in each 200grams! That means it is good for me! ;)

Oh Crystal I'm laughing my pants off here:) (Love your blog btw!). When you run out honey, I'll post you some more. Timtams come in all sorts of fancy flavours now too - have you tyried Caramello Koalas or Freddo Frogs? OMG I tried Junior Mints today - for some reason my local servo (gas station) sells them. I could eat them by the crate!!
Hi Crystal, I also did evolve. You have been very busy I see. Thats great. Your blog is really good. I had a laugh about your chocolate delivery. You will love them all I'm sure. The trouble is that if you are like me, you will not be able to stop at a few pieces. Enjoy.
Yeah the Tim Tams in other flavours I love the caramel ones or the Pink ones that come out. Crystal you'll have to let us know what you think. I'm enjoying looking at all your pics.

hahaha lmao this is hillarious ok so you have given me an excuse to go loads of choc today give all the kids some chocky too and then explain to my husband that it is our calsium intake for the day heheheh hmm now will that work pfft who cares excuse is good enough heheh..
